CTSO Purple and Gold Rush Week
September 12, 2022
The Bainbridge High School CTAE Department hosted a school-wide week event called CTSO Rush Week last week, August 29-September 2, 2022.
The week began with a Scavenger Hunt for the entire school. Students went on a hunt to find the answers after each CTSO decorated its door with information about its CTSO.
CTSOs were POPPIN’ on Tuesday! CTSO members and advisers wore CTSO colors or CTSO shirts. During each of the four lunches, students were invited to scan a QR code, which directed them to an interest survey. Students were given a bag of popcorn once the survey was completed.
Each organization hosted “Candy at our Crib” on Wednesday. They set up tables in the lunchroom and distributed candy with CTSO stickers/tags.
Each CTSO focused on its Community Service Project on Thursday.
- HOSA – Toiletries for the BHS Clothes Closet
- FBLA – New socks for senior citizens in local nursing homes
- Skills USA – Dog Food Decatur County Humane Society
- FCCLA – Children’s Books
- FFA – Ties for the solvation army
- JROTC- New T-Shirts for the BHS Clothes Closet
Finally, it was CTSO Spirit Day on Friday! Students wore purple and gold while registering and paying their dues. During all lunches, Kona Ice was available for purchase by students.
