The Bainbridge Bearcats and Thomasville County Central Yellow Jackets squared off on Friday, September 2. This was the first game of the season with no weather delay. The game, despite the Bearcats’ several valiant efforts, did not go in their favor. Before halftime, the Bearcats were behind 0-21; however, Thomasville and Bainbridge both scored twice after the break. The result was a victory for the Yellow Jackets with a final score of 14–35.
