On Saturday, March 14, the 2023 GHSA Literary AAAA State Competition took place at Warner Robins High School.The Georgia High School Association hosts an annual event in which high school students from across the state participate in events such as writing, public speaking, acting, and singing. If the students do well at the regional level, they will be invited to compete at the statewide level. Students from BHS got the opportunity to participate and place in the competition. Alex Hatcher placed 1st for Personal Essay making her state Champion. Saraiyah Porter placed 4th in Humorous Theatrical Interpretation. Ava Prouse placed 5th in the Argumentative Essay and Emma Thompson placed 5th in Literary Analysis Essay.
