The Snowflake Ball, hosted by the Special Olympics (SO) Committee which is made up of school system volunteers as well as community partners, took place on February 18, 2023,  at the Kirbo Center.  The SO committee members in attendance at the ball were:  Wanda Thomas (Committee Chair), Bree Maxwell, Jan Culverson, Chad Smith, Sylena Wiggins, Carlos Williams, and Gayle Johnson.  BHS students and Boy Scout troops volunteered their time this evening.  The Bainbridge Pilot Club provided finger foods for all in attendance.  DJ’s To Go provided the dancing music.  Ms. Connie Hawkins photographed each participant posed at a balloon accented backdrop and provided them with a picture from their special evening.  Each participant was introduced by name and welcomed to this event.  This evening was a great celebration for all and was so fun.  This event would not be possible without the support and efforts of many.  It takes a village to plan for an evening to celebrate a special group of folks in our schools and community and we are THANKFUL to all!!!
