On February 3, our BHS Wrestling team competed in the Region Traditional Championship and won first place for the first time in our school’s history. Our team score was 201.0. The following students were Region Champions in their weight class: Malcolm Spann, Michael Rich, Josh Fillingame, Brian Pugh, and Bradley Mashburn. With this win, Josh Fillingame became a three-time Region Champion.  Second place went to Brian Sanders, Layton Burris, Alex Pearson, and Kagan Castro. Third place went to Izavious Scott and Zachary Burdick. Lastly, fourth place went to Khaled Mullins. Please congratulate our Bearcat wrestlers on a job well done.
