Helping Others in Need
* inches of cut hair

Caroline Grubbs, a 10th grader at Bainbridge High School, recently donated her hair to help other children whose cancer has caused them to lose their hair. She donated the entire 8-inch section to the Locks of Love organization. Her aunt Susan, who lost her hair due to brain cancer and tragically lost her battle on New Year’s Day, served as Caroline’s inspiration for giving. Unfortunately, there was no cure for Susan. Caroline states, “Everyone should consider donating their hair if they are getting a major chop. There are many children and adults who would adore the hair instead of it ending up on the salon floor.”
