Three HOSA students qualified for the HOSA State Leadership Conference that is being held on March 2-4 in Atlanta, GA. Addison Cook qualified for Veterinary Medicine, Victoria Chaney qualified for Nursing Assisting, and Tavares Murphy qualified for Medical Math. Chaney and Cook will be performing hands-on events. Cook will be demonstrating skills related to veterinary medicine and animal care, Chaney will be demonstrating skills related to patient care provided specifically by certified nursing assistants. Murphy’s event involves solving medical math calculations commonly found in healthcare scenarios/situations without the aid of any calculators.
