On Tuesday, January 10, the Bainbridge Bearcats and Lady Cats traveled to Thomasville, Georgia to play the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets. In the first half, the Lady Jackets, who were playing first, outscored the Lady Cats, 27-18. Despite the Lady Cats’ valiant effort after the half, the Lady Jackets prevailed 65-40. After the girls’ game, the boys took the court and had a fantastic performance. At the break, Thomasville was trailing the Bearcats 34-20. Following the intermission, the Bearcats made an even bigger effort to win with a score of 61-45.

 

On Saturday, January 14, the Seminole County Indians traveled to Bainbridge, Georgia, to compete against our Lady Cats and Bearcats. In the opening contest, our Lady Cats and their Lady Indians faced off. The Lady Cats overcame the Lady Indians with an incredible score of 44-31, giving them their first victory of the year. Following the Lady Cats’ dominance, the Seminole County Indians were faced by the Bearcats, who competed and won 55 to 52.
