On Friday, January 13, 2023, the FCA held this year’s Powerpuff game at the Centennial field. Powerpuff, a flag football game between the girls from each grade level, brings friendly competition for a good cause, funding the FCA program. It was a good day for some fierce competition between the girls. The seniors and sophomores got the game started. It was a tough game but the seniors took the win at the end with a final score of 15-6. The juniors beat the freshman 14-0. The seniors pummeled the championship with a whopping score of 12-2 against the sophomores. The winners got the chance to sign the pink helmet, which will be placed in the trophy case later this year. Aaron Jarriel, a preacher from the Bainbridge Church of God, was present and gave a brief sermon during the game’s halftime. This was the first game since 2019 making it much more exciting.
