A Fine Art Christmas



The BHS Chorus performs at the Christmas Celebration Performing Arts Showcase.

On December 14 at 7 p.m., the BHS Mixed Choir, Women’s Ensemble, Concert Band and Symphonic Band hosted their Christmas Celebration Performing Arts Showcase concert at the Bainbridge High School gymnasium. Both the chorus and Symphonic Band began the concert with the “Star Spangled Banner”. After the band and chorus finished this, they moved onto their respective performances. The BHS Chorus sang the following songs: “Eatnemen Vuelie” by Frode Fjellheim and arranged by Emily Crocker, ”It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas” by Wilson and arranged by Walter Ahret, and “Cantique De Noel” arranged by Michael Levi. 

The Concert Band performed these pieces: “Charlie Brown Christmas” arranged by Paul Murtha, “All is Calm” arranged by Robert W. Smith, and “Up on the Hip-Hop Housetop” arranged by Bryce Newton.

The Symphonic Band performed these pieces: “Christmas on Broadway” arranged by John Higgins, ”On This Day” arranged by Jay Dawson, and “Country Cookin Christmas” arranged by Jeff Simmons.
