The Bainbridge High School Swim Team competed in their second meet on Thursday, November 11, in Thomasville. The boys and girls won the meet with a combined score of 735. The girls placed first with a score of 452 and the boys placed third with a score of 283.
The boys finished third overall with a score of 283. Boys Dawson Cottles, Josh Fillingame, Gambler Dollar, and Gamble Tabb placed second in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:22.03. In the 200 Yard Individual Medley, Josh Fillingame finished first with a time of 2:53.67, and Gambler Dollar finished third with a time of 3:17.02. In the 500 Yard Freestyle, Dawson Cottles finished second with a time of 6:57.20, and Gambler Dollar finished third with a time of 8:12.89. In the Boys 100 Yard Breaststroke, Josh Fillingame finished third with a time of 1:23.99. Bryce McNurlan, Connor Jarrett, Mitchell Carter, and Daniel Guzman placed first in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time 5:53.23.
The girls took first place with an overall score of 452. Girls Ramsey Mathews, Jaycee Maxwell, Allee Grace Dickson, and Ali Bennett finished in second place in the Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:35.23. Also girls Ava Bennett, Sydni Avery, Caroline Maxwell, and Reese Godby placed fourth in the Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:43.87. In the 200 Yard Individual Medley, Allee Grace Dickson finished first with a time of 3:19.09. In the 100 Yard Butterfly event, Reese Godby finished third with a time of 1:41.69. In the 100 Yard Freestyle, Ali Bennett finished third place with a time of 1:15.52. In the 500 Yard Freestyle, Sydni Avery finished second with a time of 8:09.90. In the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay Ali Bennett, Ramsey Mathews, Reese Godby, and Allee Grace Dickson placed third place with a time of 2:11.60. Ramsey Mathews finished third with a time of 1:25.48 in the 100 Yard Backstroke and Caroline Maxwell finished third with a time of 1:46.42 in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. In the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay Ava Bennett, Jaycee Maxwell, Ivy Godby, and Sydni Avery placed first with a time of 5:53.87
