Abby Grubbs’ heifer, Giselle, was awarded Grand Champion Breed Females and Supreme Champion Heifer Overall at the National Peanut Festival in Dothan, AL on Saturday, November 5. Abby has won the title of Supreme Champion Heifer Overall for the past two years back-to-back with Maine-Anjou heifers. When showing cows one of the main things judges look at is body proportion.

Giselle is a black and white Maine-Anjou heifer. Abby bought Giselle when she was about 1 year old from a company in Illinois and raised Giselle for 6 months before it was time to show her. Abby keeps her cows and cares for them herself. Make sure to congratulate Abby wholeheartedly!
