On October 29, the Quizbowl team participated in a tournament at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida. The event was held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The students that attended are as follows: Zachary Breedlove, Mariovan Dominguez, Jerilynn Effland, Kate Johnson, Jeb Logue, Lola McNair, Devi Patel, Thomas Shockley, Dax Willis.  There were approximately 32 teams competing in the tournament. The junior varsity team of Jerilynn Effland, Kate Johnson, Lola McNair, Devi Patel, and Thomas Shockley made it to the quarter finals.
