On Friday, November 4, the BHS Cross Country team departed for their regional competition at Westover High School in Albany. The Lady Cats finished first place overall in the region for the first time since 2007 and the Bearcats finished Region 1-AAAA Runner-up in a highly competitive contest. The Bearcats and the Lady Cats brought home several individual honors. For the Lady Cats, Senior Rylan Bland finished first place, Junior Kinsey Ward finished second place, and Junior Hayden Klock finished fourth place. For the  Bearcats, Junior Caden Godwin finished first and Junior Jahlae Sapp finished third place.

The coaches are very proud of the team with Assistant Cross Country Coach Cindy Harrell stating, “Our Bainbridge High Cross Country team should be proud of their performance at the Region Championships last week in Albany at Westover High School”. The team has done a great job this year ending a good season.
