Class of 2023: Apply for scholarships now!

As the first semester is nearing the end, seniors need to begin applying for scholarships and colleges. There are many scholarship opportunities that have specific qualifications that students may research on their own time, but some are listed below:
Big Future Scholarships
Students must complete following steps to earn entries in monthly drawings for $500 and $40,000:
- Practice for SAT – deadline October 31, 2022.
- Strengthen your College List – deadline October 31, 2022.
- Explore Scholarships – deadline February 28, 2022.
- Complete the FAFSA – deadline February 28, 2022.
- Apply to Colleges – deadline February 28, 2022.
These steps are to be completed on bigfuture.collegeboard.org.
Coca-Cola Scholars Program
Requirements:
- Must have an academic GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Plans to attend a degree in a US post-secondary institution.
Deadline: October 31, 2022.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program
Requirements:
- Graduate from a U.S. high school in spring 2023.
- Enrolling in four year college in fall 2023.
- Minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Demonstrate unmet financial need.
- Family must have a gross income less than $95,000.
Deadline: November 17, 2022.

Most scholarships provided through BHS will be posted in the Class of 2023 Google Classroom, Remind, and BHS Daily Bulletins.
