On October 13, 2022, senior Shane Dill and alumnus Bowynn Brown presented their GSHA Bass Fishing State Championship rings at the Decatur County Board of Education meeting. A total of 58 schools and 129 boats made the finals from 4 qualifying tournaments held in January, February, March, and April.
