On September 10, 2022, the BassCats attended a local tournament in Donaldsonville, Georgia at a local restaurant called Big Jim’s. The high schools represented at the tournament were Bainbridge Bass Cats, Seminole County, Southwest Georgia Academy, and Miller County. There were a total of 33 anglers that attended the tournament.

For the Junior Division: Layken Shockley from Bainbridge Middle School caught a 1.92lbs fish, earning him second place. For the Senior Division: Hayden Reynolds from Bainbridge High School caught a 12.42lbs fish, which secured a second place spot.

Seminole county won first in both the Junior and Senior Division, as well as winning the overall big fish, but Bainbridge BassCats will have a chance to comeback at their next tournament on September 17 at West Point Lake.
